Our Work
- Exposing young minds to computer programming nourishes their cognitive and social abilities.
- Children in most developed countries get early programming exposure. This opportunity is deprived for Indian rural kids primarily because of lack of fluency in English.
- All programming languages and infrastructure relies on English e.g. computer keyboards, programming keywords etc.
- Our aim is to bridge this gap – allowing kids to develop algorithmic thinking by learning programming skills without the need to first develop English fluency.
- Teaching and content is all provided in indigenous languages.
- We do this until we are able to influence policy makers toward a more large-scale change.
What we will not do – directly teach applications or strengthen browsing skills in lieu of programming skills.
