Our volunteers are the backbone of Vishvakannada Foundation. We welcome individuals
who are passionate about education, technology, and empowering the next generation
of Kannada-speaking programmers.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Programming Instructors:
- Teach Scratch, LOGO, or Python to primary and higher primary students
- Conduct weekend or after-school coding sessions
- Develop engaging, age-appropriate programming activities
- No formal teaching experience required—just enthusiasm and basic programming
knowledge
Content Creators:
- Translate programming tutorials and documentation into Kannada
- Create video lessons and instructional materials
- Develop practice problems and coding challenges
- Design culturally relevant programming projects
Mentors:
- Guide students on their programming journey
- Provide one-on-one or small group mentorship
- Help students with debugging and problem-solving
- Inspire confidence and curiosity in technology
Workshop Facilitators:
- Conduct programming awareness sessions in schools
- Lead weekend coding camps and bootcamps
- Organize community outreach events
- Introduce teachers and parents to programming education
